The Platform shows two kinds of data: live and delayed market data (quotes, chains, indices, news headlines) and a licensed historical options archive used by the Backtester and Simulator. Both are licensed to us by third parties and made available to you only on these terms.
Access to the historical archive is switched on per account by us for a bounded period ("data grant") and can be withdrawn. It is provided for pilot and evaluation use; it is not a redistribution licence and does not transfer any rights in the data. Backtest results are derived from licensed data and are for your use only.
Data can be delayed, incomplete, revised or wrong. Quotes shown as "executable" are the best bid/ask we last received, not a guaranteed fill. Historical archives have gaps (for example, some years or sessions may be missing) and the Platform states known coverage where it can. Do not rely on any figure without checking it against your broker.
Live quotes and chains come through your connected broker or our market-data providers; historical data comes from licensed historical-data archives (ThetaData); news headlines are provided by third-party wires and belong to their publishers. Supplier terms flow down to you where they require it.
Breach of these terms ends your data access immediately and may end your account.
